Generational Differences in the Workplace

The workplace today is a “melting pot” of significant diverse populations, and perhaps one of the more glaring differences across this diversity spectrum is that of the generational difference, particularly across the ever-present Baby Boomer (oftentimes still in management) and the newly minted or younger generations.

This article (Why Generation Y Yuppies Are Unhappy) provides an excellent view into the brains and psyches of Generation Y Yuppies, especially to help us (as in Baby Boomers) gain a perspective into their thinking. I find this article so fascinating, and then I wonder: “Are they really that different from us in our earlier years?!
